Q. I’m looking for something that I can put in my home office, where I send out a lot of scans and faxes, and take in a lot of papers that need to be printed. Would this be ideal for me?

A. You are the user that this is most accustomed for! Its scanning isn’t the most professional to hand out to people, but for personal use it’s great, along with faxing and scanning things for other people. A home office is what this machine was meant for.

“I use this printer for our small business in the home office, along with some personal printing of school stuff for my daughter, and some pictures.

It does everything I need and more! I can copy, scan, print, including double sided scanning and printing, envelopes, photos, and probably a few things I haven’t thought of yet! It also works with my wireless network, and there’s an app to print directly from my smartphone. The ink cartridges that it came with still have plenty of ink after about 5 months of moderate to heavy printing in both color and b&w, and the ink doesn’t smear when I highlight my printouts! It has two paper trays with multiple paper sizes, including legal size paper, and an auto document feeder that I’ve used to send a 54 page fax! And it closes up nicely to prevent dust from collecting in the ADF. I haven’t imported pictures directly to the USB port yet, but apparently it has that capacity.

If you work at home or need it for a small business, this is perfect for you. It’s quick, easy to use, and has all the features you need to get any printing done quickly. It’s an inkjet, so it’s a little expensive to print; plus, the quality is a bit to be desired being the text is readable but fuzzy. It’s great if you need it for internal office or at home but not if you need to give papers out for business.

An overall very good printer, just a few printing issues but readable and usable for anything you need at home.
